Klistoff Kicks off Bouy 10 with the right Wraptor weapon!

David Klistoff with Reel Life Fishing Adventures and one of our Wraptor Pro Staff guides had a very successful Buoy 10 kickoff and season in part due to his new favorite all around rod that put the hurt on the fish this year. Our 040006 composite blank a two piece 9'6 12 to 30 lb. is a mix of graphite with woven glass throughout with a black finish. This rod is an overall amazingly versatile salmon rod. Pro-Trolls, down rigging, fish flash, divers and up to 16 oz. lead for herring.

When it comes to dragging Herring around you want an action sensitive rod so those fish don't feel that extra tension when they grab the bait. David states this rod absorbs the aggression of a Herring bite better than any rod he has ever used before not to mention with this rod you are able to read your gear more thoroughly as it's working in the water. Using Pro-Trolls you can consistently have confidence that your gear is fishing as the rod thumps pretty hard. When it folds over it's pretty incredible how much backbone you still have left for power.

Taking people out that have never really fished before and don't have the concept of keeping a line tight can be tricky, but it seems that the parabolic bend through the rod helps keep just enough tension to assist people with that struggle. All in all from a trolling stand point you can't ask for something more universal in its job, whether it's for Spring Chinook, Ocean Coho or Fall Chinook. From the sensitivity at the tip through the consistency of the bend, to the power of the backbone it has everything you can ask for. Klistoff has put a ton of keeper sized sturgeon on with no issues what so ever.

Buoy 10 was an Epic season for Reel Life Fishing Adventures and Wraptor with this rod, lots of happy clients with exciting fish fighting action and memories. Lots of fish and a few bright beauties over 30lbs. were brought on board. Doesn't get much better than that.
