Team Wraptor is at it again.
A collaboration between owner Jay Johnstone and Guide Cole Abraham has produced quite the innovative custom Striper fighting machine.
Abraham was looking for a custom rod for his Striper guided fishing trips in Winchester Bay. Together with Johnstone the two came up with a design they are proud of and is very effective. Abraham states the weight of this rod is perfect and very well balanced. The bigger butt is great for casting big swim baits and heavier jigs. The rod has plenty of backbone and just the right amount of tip action making for a fun fish fight. Because its a bass rod they had to make sure it would be strong enough to withstand the fight of a Striper. Abraham has caught 3 - 20lb stripers on it so far and nurmerous in the 10-15 lb range. He was concerned about durablity, he wanted to see if the rod would break with a bigger fish fight but he was pleasantly suprised and impressed.
In his opinion, its the best Striper rod on the market!!
